Getting back to it
So the past few weeks have been a little rough. It happens that way, though. Yeah, I broke up with the girlfriend, and that was pretty sucky. Before you ask, it was fairly mutual, although I really was the one to make it happen. So that's been wearing on me a bit. Then last week I was on call at work, and I got at least one phone call EVERY NIGHT. Which means I didn't get a full night's sleep at all. Add to that working over the weekend last weekend (when it wasn't my turn - the guy who was supposed to was out of town) on an issue that came up, and I put in close to 60 hours. With broken sleep. It didn't help me out much at all. Thankfully, Friday morning after working from Thursday night at 10-ish to a little after 3 (yes, AM), I decided to go ahead and sleep IN. So I e-mailed my co-workers to let them know, and thankfully, they did not disturb me. I got a lot of sleep caught up, but it was still rough.

Things like that are what are prompting me to push forward a bit more with my internet marketing business. I've been seeing a lot of success with other people in the forums, and it's making me curious about where I might be if I had kept working on improving, instead of just letting it roll after I got some success. So I'm going to get back to it, put the nose to the grindstone, etc. Hopefully it'll improve my income a decent degree, we'll see. Mainly it's been from seeing the stories from people in the forums on the site I use regularly for reference and input (yes, it's their sales page, but the forums are members-only). Especially one specific individual who managed to earn $2500. Not in a year. Not in a month. No, not in a week. But in a day. Pure profit. I kid you not. So I'm figuring if I can get to that point sometime, I'd probably be pretty peachy. Ppppppt. (I think I've used up my ration of "p"s for a while.) But yeah, I've been working quite a bit on trying to gain more knowledge, put up more sites, figure out how it works when you do it right. We'll see how it goes.

Aside from that, Halloween is coming up, and I'll be giving out candy to the kiddies. I should get some GOOD candy. Not to be nice to the kids so much as so I have something decent if there's any left over. Mmmm, candy.
