Another update?
Sure, why not. I've been doing a bunch of random stuff lately.

The latest news - it's Chinese New Year time! Which means time for lion dancing. I was Buddha at the last dance, at Royal Dragon. You should have seen it, it was fabulous. A ton of people were there, actually. We put on a pretty good show, got a lot of tips. (The cash kind.) It was cold outside, so when I took the Buddha mask off my head was steaming. Interesting stuff. Good exercise, though.

Been playing a few games lately, catching up on lost time. I'm now playing Xenosaga on the PS2. Never had time to before, and now I'm getting into it. It's actually rather interesting - a long RPG. I think it will take a decent amount of time to finish.

Aside from that, still doing the music thing, although I'm taking a break now. Been listening to OutKast, of all things. The Love Below. Actually a very nice album.

Ah, and I went on a retreat last weekend. It turned out all right. I played guitar, and apparently some people thought I did a decent job with the music. I was happy about it. Turned out to be a pretty good retreat.

Random link! It's so much goodness to see stuff you love make the national news. Finally, more people are starting to see the light. Video games are FUN.

I am INSOMNIAC, hear no snore
I am awake, indeed. I seem to thrive on Japanese standard time. Maybe it's a sign.

So what do I do early in the morning, before finally passing out? Mainly I play whatever my latest craze in gaming is on the PC, or else (and more often, lately) write music. I've been recording quite a bit. Perhaps I'll post a link to one of my selections here; if I hear requests for such a posting, the chances it'll appear will increase substantially. Still haven't recorded lyrics though. I'm wary of recording my voice, for some reason. Eh.

I'll be on a retreat this weekend. Retreating? Well, yes, but actually I'll be helping. How? By donating what measly musical skills I have. Apparently some people seem to think I can play guitar. So it should be interesting. I'll let you know how that turns out.

Well, I think I'm going to hit the hay now. And after I lay a few haymakers into the hay (how did hay become associated with punching?) I'll probably go to sleep. But first...

Random link! The future is NOW. And it's looking slightly scary, especially for those who may be uncomfortable with changes to their everyday grind.

Break is over
Break is over, and I am back. It was a crazy break. Went out of town twice. Did lots of recording. Played many hours of gaming goodness. School starts today, though. Bleah. I should probably enroll. LAST semester. My many years here may finally come to an end. We will see.

I have decided that some of the stuff I have is actually good to have. Say, my guitar and the PODxt. Recording's been really easy with it. Fun, even! I might have to record vocals, though, which I haven't done yet.

Well, I must really get going on with the day, but I'll leave you with a sort of random link. New Strong Bad stuff. Perhaps the best ever.

Short entry
I don't have a lot of time, but I thought I'd put something up. I've been visiting my friend Sean(icus) from out of town. Drove to Kansas City, even though my car (I found out) has $600 worth of repairs that need to be done. Damn labor costs. I am going to the east side of the country to help a friend in need drive a car back from way out EAST. Hopefully it'll all go well.

Work is still going, although now I'm somewhat on a break, being the holidays and all. It's nice. You should try it. Hey! And I've actually started recording stuff! As in, musical stuff. It's not too shabby. Decent, even. We'll see where that goes.

Still have to have my random link. Old school Strong Bad stuff. It's kind of on topic.
